Life at Compass

when we first started the route they were observing to make sure everything ran smoothly. Only did the first 4 or 5 roundtrips if I remember right.
I had a fed several months after we started the route. He was from the Indy FSDO so we talked smack about Republic when we weren't sitting there silently staring.

6 170s being returned next year...

What a stagnant place we are right now. Not a lot to entice new pilots to come here. A rumored interview program never materialized, no flow, no bonus and a very sub par contract. Add this and if I'm a new hire, I'm looking elsewhere.

Meanwhile, a person with 14 months on property got the last upgrade award and the alternate went to a person with 12 months on property.

And a person with 3 hours PIC and 15 hours total time at the company got hired at SJI.

Seriously, people need a little perspective. A few more green days and a few more months of reserve is a far cry from an early morning email April 1st saying you've declared bankruptcy.

Anyone else having PBS troubles? Everytime I try and click a pairing/line property or off day they dont show up in prioritize layers so I cant select a layer. The computer just refreshes and nothing comes up. I emailed crew planning manager but no response. So near bid close I was wondering if this was an isolated thing or system wide and they might extend the bid period.

Too late now but were you hitting submit at the bottom before going to prioritize layers?

Also I believe the official date for the cutover is the 31st. I think background stuff will start happening on the 15th but crews wont see anything new until the 31st.

Other than the fact that I think we are being lied to in the conference call regarding why we lost the airframes, the bigger issue I had is that though you may be talented enough to fly an airplane, when it comes to being able to mute your phones, you're all damn idiots. Had to hang up so I wouldn't hear your dog bark or your TV in the background. It's...not...that...difficult.

And to the guy who said, and I quote, "how can a guy run an airline when he can't run a conference call", we all heard it. Nice work from someone who can't figure out how to mute a phone after repeatedly being asked to do so.
