Crew Reports required for delays known after boarding has commenced or completed or after pushback exceeding 15 minutes... on my single day off, but I might need to also fill out a fatigue report after these are all done.

So basically every flight requires a crew report. This is why I bid reserve. Less flights = less paperwork. But... hashtag blessed.

Any of you gents have any experience with being on recovery? Where does that put me in relation to reserves? Top of the pile or at the bottom? Tried reading the contract but as per protocol I don't understand it.

Unfortunately, it puts you near the top of the list to be called in my experience. Did you get bought off a trip for IOE? They should code that as TBB but they have been using REC improperly as it was explained to me. You need to make yourself "available to the company" should they need you. Which they dont because they probably have 20 reserves sitting there but they call REC first lately. 2 years ago I got bought off a couple times no problem then the last 2-3 times I always got stuck with a turn or something uncommutable. Sucks.

Think of it like long call reserve.

The one time I was put on recovery (when I'd been bought off a trip for IOE), I was called one day for a trip that began the next day's afternoon -- about 30 hours' notice.

It's happened to me a few times. Stay home and enjoy the time off. You're not on short call reserve. If you can make it, great. If not, tell them that. You shouldn't be penalized because they needed your trip.

Anyone else notice how October open time trading has still not been reopened? November schedules were posted on the 20th and that was when adds/swaps/drops were supposed to reopen for October...Surprised nobody else has brought this up. Ive sent a few emails and all have gone unanswered.
