Poor 202NN just can't catch a break...now AOS due to lightning strikes...same with 219.

I haven't heard this one, but it's hard to have a lightning strike when there are no thunderstorms.
Brah, 7 minutes every four day really adds up over the year. If I pull it back I can easily afford a 20oz bottle of coke from Hudson News at the end of the year.OMG BRO LOOK AT HOW MUCH MORE I MADE ON THAT FOUR DAY!
...but you'll find a way?I haven't heard this one, but it's hard to have a lightning strike when there are no thunderstorms.
Honestly, I just don't even care anymore. If I need something from them I'm going to call them. Part of the reason they exist is to be a liaison to the flight crews. They crew flights, and they field inquiries from crews. If they can't handle both of those tasks then there is a problem. What kind of problem? Their kind of problem. If I need to talk to sked I am going to call them, and if they are too busy to be able to handle aspects of their job then maybe the company needs to budget a few more dollars for another on duty scheduler.Oh look...another IROP event. Must be 4 phones ringing. Getting a tad ridiculous.

There are currently only 12 full time folks in CS,with usually 2 to 3 on a shift. The department is very junior as the turnover is quite high. One gets hired, another one quits, rinse and repeat.

Exactly. The turnover seems high even for a regional. But that's not a pilot's problem....turn over is high for a reason. Management needs to fix the problem of high turnover. Like Poser said, if I need to call scheduling I will. When an irop email goes out twice a week, it starts to sound like a joke and not the way an airline should be run.

It's honestly not really the pilots that are the issue..a majority of the time they have valid, legitimate questions. It really shouldn't be a CS vs the crews kind of thing,as cheesy as it sounds everyone should be working together to run an on time airline. There are some folks who actually do care about our pilots QOL and want to see them get their time in and move on to bigger and better things.

Yeah I know turnover is high (is it always is in sked), and that they only staff two or three at a time. Like barbie said, that's not my problem. I'm going to call them to get accomplished what I need them to accomplish. And no, you're right...it's not an issue with the pilots. Schedulers have a tough job that I imagine is a lot like herding cats...that are on fire. It's honestly not really the pilots that are the issue..a majority of the time they have valid, legitimate questions. Can someone explain why one would pick Compass in today's market? They don't offer a bonus or a flow?
Can current employees explain the attraction as well as where are the guys leaving going to work?
