Life at Compass

i had a few times where the fore/aft adjustment was broken and deferred and the little yellow toggle was the only way to move the seat.

Is IT ever working? I bet they could grab a couple of college kids aimlessly walking around trying to catch Pokemon to manage the servers better than the morons they have down in STL.

Anybody have tips on how to pass time while IT is down?

We were fully boarded when it went down. I spent an hour and a half giving PA's (on the airplane so no hat needed), talking with the gate agent about people's connections and out of boredom found each person and told them what the new backup plan was. Even though I don't care for kids, I brought one up and gave a tour. "Want to see the most important button? This one - it lets the flight attendants know we are hungry"

I was going to .CMPAllPilots this, but I guess JC is a better place to start.

To the guy pissed at FO Isaac, who is writing "Isaac is a Rat" in all the yoke clips. Please start including Rat Isaac's last name. There is more than one Isaac here.

Thanks,
Sincerely Not-Rat-Isaac.

ugh, still too vague:

It's spread to FA's too; mine were super confused because they've heard only horror stories about Isaac but it was such an enjoyable trip... No, no, no, there's two Isaacs!

It started when he gave his free beer ticket to his friend in STL at the hotel during training. Friend used said beer ticket and then was threatened by "The Owl" for breaking the 12 hour rule. So he called in sick for the training event. The epitome of a "Buddy Effer"

First, I question whether this actually happened.

Second, if someone NEEDS a beer within 12 hours of going on duty, they need to talk with the HIMS guys pronto.

It's unfortunate and he knew the rules, but having a beer at 19.00 with a 06.00 show (as an example) is hardly HIMS territory. They were friends and I think that it's revealing about this dude's character to throw someone under the bus unnecessarily.
