Somebody should ask on the next conference call. Hopefully just replacing some of the CRJ's.. Our base should be guaranteed for another 11 months. Supposedly we got a 2 yr commitment from Delta for the base.

I heard Compass is opening a SLC base.

Just got informed from a buddy at OO that all of their 175's for Delta are going to Sea. I wonder if Delta will shrink us or just grow Sea even more.

Just spoke with my neighbor the other day again. He said thats what they have been told, starting in Sept or Oct.

I heard that too but only AA flying will be done out of the base. Delta flying will be done in the existing bases.

There's not enough gate space for 20 new 175s in SEA plus the 717s plus our 175s, is there? There just isn't... We're parking in S gates usually now as it is... Plus destinations... more Delta shuttles? Idk. CRJ replacements? Maybe... DL knows customers prefer the 175 to the CRJ, at least the 200 and 700. More mexico/alaska from Seattle? Not sure what other cities they would add. Curious to see the plan.

I did just fly a DL 5-day that was all in and out of SLC...

And I did see we are doing a SLC-SMF next month...

I've also heard they're going to create a LAX/LGB/HHR/BUR/ONT/PSP/SNA/SMO/POAM/VNY/CMA/SAN/CMH/SJC/SMF/LAS/JFK domicile into a attendant base with a two hour call out to all the airports in the base.

It came from a good source, should happen in a few weeks.

If you manage to upgrade quickly at Compass, expect to be on reserve for a few years.

Otherwise, commutable trips exist, but you may not hold them depending on your seniority.

Each month I'm two or three numbers from holding a line. Each award all the new Captains are senior to me. Coincidence, or more? Haha

Not a good bid strategy.

Bid a target range instead.

Max credit would bypass a 94 hours line with 14 days off and give you a 94:01 line with 11days off...

Instead use target line range of 90 to 95.

Just curious, seeing as this LAX Ops Freqs read file has come out 3x in the last 2 days now...... but I've never called LAX DELTA Ops to tell them I'm going Outbound before....am I the only one?
