Life at Compass

Am I completely out of my mind to be considering jumping off the Skywest bandwagon for a little Compass airlines in LAX? I live in tucson, FO on reserve, indefinitely. Making about 45K a year. If I commute to MSP (and freeze to death) I could upgrade on the CRJ-200 in about a year. No doubt about it the trips out of MSP crappy trips. I'd hate to leave Skywest I really like the company. If I jump to Compass Ill make about 37k first year (including the 10k signing bonus), and probably be able to upgrade in a year (so Im told...idk) and I would only be commuting to LAX. As The Dude would say "its a complicated case there are a lot of ins and outs, what-have-yous". I might be opening up a Pandoras Box here but, what do you guys think?
@Rodger Wilco You might want to check your email from Tracy (the other one).

What's gonna happen when Skywest start bringing the E175s online in LAX starting spring 2016 and you are already at Compass? Is Compass going to remain the same size in LAX? Grow? Shrink? I don't know.
