Life at Compass

Anyone know if you get a CDO line do you only get paid for the credit hours, or do you get whatever the floor is for the month? I see CDO lines with less than 60hrs of credit, is that all you're paid?
You will be paid the minimum monthly guarantee of 75 hours.

I bet you like it with a side of watermelon too.

SOoooOOOoooooo typical.

10 more LA CA's and they're bringing Seattle back to 46 people in the next bid... How many of the AA planes are online now?

Maintenance guy said 17 should be here really soon. Not sure if he meant in the states or LAX...and Envoy already got ship 20.

Am I completely out of my mind to be considering jumping off the Skywest bandwagon for a little Compass airlines in LAX?

I live in tucson, FO on reserve, indefinitely. Making about 45K a year. If I commute to MSP (and freeze to death) I could upgrade on the CRJ-200 in about a year. No doubt about it the trips out of MSP crappy trips. I'd hate to leave Skywest I really like the company.

If I jump to Compass Ill make about 37k first year (including the 10k signing bonus), and probably be able to upgrade in a year (so Im told...idk) and I would only be commuting to LAX.

As The Dude would say "its a complicated case there are a lot of ins and outs, what-have-yous".

I might be opening up a Pandoras Box here but, what do you guys think?

I'll be impressed if a new hire upgrades in under 2 years, and I think 3 is more likely.

You should do the MSP captain thing, and then quit as soon as something good comes up because of it.

You missed the boat, unfortunately.

Although I hear we're getting airplanes from Shuttle America, so who knows! 40/hr first year and hotels for your commute might ease the pain. Stby.

FIFY

And no I don't know anything. Just saying be ready to take advantage of any thing that could be positive, that goes for all airlines.
