Life at Compass

My favorite was an unnamed west coast regional Captain who rode with a very trust worthy, no BS, friend on the JS to check out the E175 when we started the shuttle. He was initial cadre AND turned down a class at United to be a part of this "exciting moment of making history at unnamed west coast regional." He said he would go to United after they get them up and running in a year or so...

I reckon that you're wandering in the wrong part of town boy. I don't think this thread is for you no more.

Do you guys have any advice on what to study for the job knowledge test, besides the book Everything Explained? Heard the test had changed recently. Thanks!

What do FAA POIs and LOHSA Observers have in common?

They both like to use Grand Rapid turns for their observations. Sorry about bumping you, AW. The good news is that my Fed Ride is complete. As an FO I was told about how serious and high-stress Fed rides are. Mine felt like a regular turn.

anyone have this issue before? I know people have picked up trips out of a domicile if both parties agree to it...trying to do exactly that and scheduling is denying it because it's out of a domicile even though neither of us are requesting a deadhead, any extra pay i.e. 4 hr min day.....

Spoke to a chief pilot this morning...with the regime change we no longer do them

What regime change?

What does the contract say?
New CPS and I'll also say the loss of @amorris311 even though he had nothing to do with it.....pouring one out for him... Contract says out of base pickups need to start and end in base...however the status quo was set that they were approved as long as you weren't requesting a pay increase or company provided deadhead......

Kind of the same thing where there was a training contract but the status quo was it wasn't enforced.

Anyone know if you get a CDO line do you only get paid for the credit hours, or do you get whatever the floor is for the month? I see CDO lines with less than 60hrs of credit, is that all you're paid?
