Life at Compass

Newbie question,

What happens if you get 90 plus hours each month and time out in 10 months?
My understanding is 1000 is max per year. Do you get 2 months off?

Will company/scheduler blame you if this happens?
That is going to be very hard to do.

There is nothing to blame you for either. Your job is to fly the airplane not schedule

That's my plan: Bid for an August training slot and hope I have the time.

Weirdly, I keep trying to fly as much as I can and they keep buying it off of me.

95 hours credit in March and 49 hours block. I got so bored I picked up days in the training center.

These are all good problems to have.

They've sent out kind of a lot of emails about this.. having the time at the time of the bid... Whats your plan if you don't meet the mins when you show for class?

Does anybody have the realignment bid with the April 1st effective date they could email me? Company didn't put our class on the mailing list for that stuff so we never got it... Hoping someone out there didn't delete that email. :)

Holy smokes! Guys are on reserve for 5 months?!

heh

More like 4 months to finish training, 1 month on reserve, 1 month with a line, awarded captain, then a partial month with a line, and they're in upgrade training and then...
