Life at Compass

When does 2nd year pay start?
I'm asking if it's 1 year from: orientation date, once at MSP to start the actual training, or once you complete your training and start line?

Thanks

I have read through most pages but I have a couple of questions:
Do you have trip cancellation pay protection?
How can they reassign you?
How many days can you get off with 7 days of vacation?
Hotel is single occupancy?

Thanks

Do you currently work at ExpressJet?

Couple questions:

-After System Validation(SV), are you still at MSP for Flight Procedure Training(FPT)? Or is FTP done at SIM training center?

-Do you need PC(Windows) after CBT? I am asking because I am currently renting the PC and would like to return it ASAP if I don't need it after CBT.

Thanks!

With the exception of the FAR117 presentation, all of mine worked fine on my mac.

How about after CBT? Anything while at MSP you need a personal computer for? I am thinking of only taking my Personal Ipad to MSP and during SIM. Would this be sufficient or am I going to need some sort of computer? Again, I'm asking after CBT.

Thanks

Well, then you're in for disappointment.

They can, and do, reassign through ACARS.

Yes there is cancellation pay.

You might get 10-12 days off with vacation, though I've seen guys do more. You won't get 3 weeks off.

Double occupancy for initial training, single otherwise.

Paid during training now too correct?

If maximizing consecutive days off is the goal, just a strategy to anyone while the topic is up: bid a vacation period that touches two months so that there are two separate bid opportunities to get days off before vacation and then a separate one to get days off after vacation.

If there is anyone worth listening to about how to maximize vacation, it's this guy!
