Layover adventures

@NovemberEcho is just panic vectors and frustration with 717's. :)
Me to every other plane that isn’t a 717: radar contact turn right heading 280 climb 10,000 contact departure

Me to 717: radar contact climb 10,000………….turn right heading 330 vector climb ……turn left heading 250 vector climb…..can you give me a good rate through 7? This is the best you have, really?…….turn right heading 280 contact departure

I have no idea why I develop a southern accent if I start getting busy but you’re not the first to mention it lol
I haven't been to JFK in ages, I wonder if the "Foghorn Leghorn" guy who works approach is still there.

Had a long layover in PSP and found some JNU peeps. Both of them are longtime fixtures in 135 in southeast alaska. Chuck probably saved my life at least once with a well timed pirep when I was a young pup.

All afternoon to kill in SEA after commuting down. Up to the Burke.

Tuesday: long SAN layover. Got (not Tex) Mexican food for lunch, then took the bus to Balboa Park where I played a round of frisbee golf with a friendly local, then walked over to the natural history museum (I get in free with a museum membership I have).

Wednesday, in MCO I found out from my captain that our short stay hotel has a 9 hole frisbee golf course about a 5 minute walk away so I played it. Only good thing about an MCO layover.

Should have taken some more pictures, all I got was someone else’s lost and found frisbee and a crappy picture of a lizard hiding behind a sign.
