I wish the previous PEPCs were that quick.

The whole process is extremely painless, just be prepared to answer any concerns. If you have documentation even better.

My pepc lasted 5 hours and i had to wait an hour to interview because my interviewer had a luggage issue, so really mine would only have taken 4 hours..

Did you tell them that was not your issue and they needed to find a suitable proxy at once!! That you had an appointment with Shiner and Bock and could not be late!

Mine started at 9 and I was out around 330. I second the above about having paperwork to back everything up. It really helps. As for the classes being full. They said through the first quarter, but that is the first quarter of the fiscal year. OCT to DEC. She said they are filling Jan and Feb right now so we should expect something in the Mar to Apr timeframe. Possibly Feb if we are lucky.

Haha just got done with my PEPC.... there was a guy wearing an 82nd airborne sweatshirt....and I think he passed his interview. (no joke) I bet his luggage was misplaced...

Seriously...just dress nice...but a suite is not needed.

Debating on Starting the New FOL thread.... I guess I will let someone else take the honor...

ALSO--- They took us into a room at the beginning... One guy asked who he could talk to about getting his facility changed, The Head guy said that there would be No Negotiations... You are being hired for a vacancy. If you don't want the job...don't take it. He advised the guy to take it.

Finally- The HR lady mentioned to us that they are aware of this website... be careful.

+1 on the slacks, shirt, and tie. No need for a suit...

That was a pretty awkward moment at the start of the process. I don't know anything about Nantucket, but still it was an awkward few minutes...

There are still spots available for the first quarter. Someone might be able to slide into a December class date if they are going to a severely understaffed facility.

You shoulda rented a few seasons of Wings.

The person who was trying to get his facility changed was picked for Nantucket? Yikes. That could have been me! I would have been the one causing a scene.

Yeah, he(applicant) said the average house price was $1.6 million and the ferry to the island left, at the earliest, at 9:00 AM. Plus, according to the conversation, it is a seasonal facility or seasonal training facility.

I don't know why he wasn't able to get in changed before the PEPC, but it sucks to be in that situation especially after he paid to fly out to MCI and paid for a hotel, paid for a rental car, etc.

Again, I don't know what went on beforehand and I don't know anything about that facility, but it was a very awkward few minutes...

Yea, it's definitly not an easy place to live. The tower is a level 7, which would be acceptable at just about anywhere else in the country...
I can't even afford to take the ferry over there, nevermind live there. But, the point is...why go to the PEPC? I would probably fight that battle behind the scenes and opt out of the PEPC unless I knew something could be done.

Thats gotta be a tough spot to be in, especially if you really want the job.
