I said that might hold water IF there was some uniform standards for convictions and sentencing across all 50 states. But you don’t, so the results vary. So, it all boils down to perceptions. You and I know the jury got it right for Kyle. But no one is gonna hire him.
Which is irrelevant, as it isn’t an employer’s concerns whether sentencing guidelines are consistent. The only thing that’s should matter is whether the sentence has been served.
