Apparently buying a bike right now is impossible. Very disappointing.
Coworker of mine was shopping for the road bike he wants. Apparently should be in stock late 2022. I’m putting a whole new drivetrain on my beater daily driver mountain bike and had to shop around a bit but was able to find all the parts I wanted.Apparently buying a bike right now is impossible. It’s freaking nuts! But makes sense with how many bikes I see out and about. I want to go ride the forest service roads on St Helens.Coworker of mine was shopping for the road bike he wants. Sweet dude! And uhh, the taint needs breaking in as well. Could be a combo of the seat/not used to it but each spring since I'm now officially more a 'seasonal' rider my nether regions need some re-adjustment time.Took the bike out for a quick ride today. Drove about 40 minutes East and biked up the Washougal river. Definitely gonna have to upgrade the seat.

Haha. There's definitely some truth to that. I might need a soft seat for my break-in period.Sweet dude! And uhh, the taint needs breaking in as well. Actually contrary to popular belief soft seats don't really help. If problems persist after a few weeks of riding head to your local bike shop and see if you can get fitted for a saddle (they measure your sit bones by sitting on a bean bag thing) and can recommend a saddle. Also some padded bike shorts/liners will help too that's the part you want padded not the seat itself.Haha. There's definitely some truth to that. I might need a soft seat for my break-in period.
