It's true, and the A320 is next because of the webmaster here... He is an airplane killer!
Fact: he used to fly the 1900, now they're mainly used for cargo...
Fact: he then flew the 727/737, Boom, 727 is done...
Fact: he flew the MD 80, I hear he receives $10.00 for every one sent to the crusher...
Fact: he then flew the 757/767, 'nuff said!
Theory: if history is any indicator then the A330 is next
As far as the 737 is concerned it would appear that it's the only airliner he ever really liked, he's probably the one behind the decision to keep producing the thing. The rumor I heard is that he likes it so much that he plans to retire as a 737/3400 captain as it will be the only airplane Delta plans to use on international routes by that time.
