Is AA Parking 757s?

So if the 757 is superior to the 737, why are the 757s being parked, and the crews are flying home from parking those planes on new 737s?

;)

Because airline management is cheap and only cares about shareholders. The 737 can hold the same for half the fuel burn. Who cares if it doesn't have the performance? Who cares that the airlines are making the plane do what it was never designed to do? The CEO gets his bonus. That's why he has that crooked smile in everyone of the safety videos.

Yes, according to forecasted schedule data (which is subject to change) ... also looking like M80s taking over for M83s this quarter.

That graph makes my head hurt.

Makes no financial sense to have a 757 over a 737-900 doing routes like ATL-MCO. Like using a Ferrari to deliver pizzas instead of a Prius. Now the 757 is priceless for runway and/or obstacle restricted airports like St Maarten, LGA or San Diego

Annnnd Delta flies a 737 in there.

I believe they fly the more performance friendly 737-800 and not the 757 replacement 737-900. SXM-JFK would be quite interesting from a payload perspective on a 737-900

All the guys I talk to on the jump seat riding to and from work tell me they hate the new 739. They say it's a dog, performance limited, etc. And don't cross paths with a FA that has just worked the 739. She'll bite your head off for giving her a smile because of how small the gallies are.

1) How does it affect their pay?

2) How do the male FA's feel about the galley?
