German Wings A320 crashed

I think, when all the dust settles that we will have to decide as a society if we are willing to accept some risk in our lives.

It took almost 15 years for the fault in having a locked cockpit door to rear its ugly head...

Excuse my ignorance... But what is SSI?

Sensitive Security Information or something like that.

Basically, either you're directed not to divulge the information on social media platforms and the general public, or it doesn't make good sense to put on a billboard.

THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW!

Just like they needed "to know" every last mindless detail about the Jodi Arias case.

Everyone needs to know everything. Do they take on the responsibility? Hmmm? All they care to know about is the... Jody Arias case... it goes so well with the bread and puppet, er, the beer and big-screen football screen they bought at Wallmart. Democracy's future is bright.

Get a former SAC pilot drunk and he'll tell you all about "Lob and Release", "Dial-A-Nuke/Variable Yield Devices", "Standpipe Fuel", the true mission of the KC-135 after it's last drag of a bomber group, oh yes. :)
Lol, I sat at a bar in Tucson once listening to a bunch of Raytheon contractors. I learned commanders names, their particular pushbacks regarding payloads, radiation ranges, etc, etc. I was rather miffed.

Oh, they read it. I've already gotten a number of emails from lemme check….

Two different national news networks and even a particular governmental agency in DC for quotes and requests for interviews. They're all over threads like this. Every time.

And I'm pretty much the only aviation webmaster with his face planted on the front page of the website unlike the other ones where there's either a corporation running it with a PR department to handle inquiries. Rhymes with Scmmay Pee Cee and Pree-SCHPOON.
"The first rule of SSI is... you don't talk about SSI" @Derg, LLC, a subsidiary of DT, Inc, Grand Cayman Island.

What made you think that? I'm just curious where that information came from because you said it with such confidence.

I was using logic. But sometimes logic doesn't go well with aviation. I thought that maybe since they had the pad, the paperwork they hand the FA's in the back might have it. Just seems logical to me.

but why would he have left the cockpit just as they'd leveled off?? Bathroom, maybe, but it was a short flight. Doesn't hold water.

I'm in my 30s and sometimes I can barely make it to 10,000' before the "urge" hits me like a tidal wave.

Morning kick off flights are the worst..a guaranteed bathroom trip. Combination of Coffee, Water, Juice, and Omelette is the "walk of shame" morning special.

So can I talk about the poison coffee pills and electrified toilet seats on here or would you rather me not?

I see your angle. An active "misinformation" program!

Yes! It's so crazy how the code to every airbus is on the final paperwork! And all the codes, absolutely the same since they left the factory in Turkmenistan!
