German Wings A320 crashed

THIS!!!
I'm betting my lunch money the media is already reading JC.
Rule #1 in aviation: Don't do/say anything that will make the news.

Oh, they read it. I've already gotten a number of emails from lemme check….

Two different national news networks and even a particular governmental agency in DC for quotes and requests for interviews. They're all over threads like this. Every time.

And I'm pretty much the only aviation webmaster with his face planted on the front page of the website unlike the other ones where there's either a corporation running it with a PR department to handle inquiries. Rhymes with Scmmay Pee Cee and Pree-SCHPOON.

Ahh!

I'm slow. I'm down to one core today.

A plane crashed. It was an Airbus. It went from there.

This thread is nothing compared to that Delta disqualifer thread. That will have to wait for a slow rotation...

Isn't it such a wonderful blend of information, ego, entitlement complexes, complaining and bitterness? :) But it shall never be the DALPA "Cincinnati Creation Museum" thread.

Get a former SAC pilot drunk and he'll tell you all about .... :)

It's been a few years, but I think some of that stuff was is so far above "SSI" that it had a single-letter classification.

On another point, CNN wins the FAIL for the day, if not year. I need to follow my own advice.

So I turned on the tv and "it" was the selected channel. Brian Todd was reporting onthe lack of psychological screening (just like all the other outlets, no doubt) at the airlines. Well, they replayed the footage of the CEO discussing the tests, and then they started in on B-roll of pilots doing pilot stuff. Something looked familiar.

The internets confirmed my suspicion. CNN used the footage from the interview they did with the FO from MH370. No joke.

I'll be honest, I read a couple of pages when it first started, but now I look at it and just laugh. "Ain't nobody got time for dat."
