Look at the audience. If someone wants to call me an idiot for sharing information from a management level insider on freight, when someone specifically asks if they should give up 60% seniority at a regional to go to freight. How exactly should I react to that? That's what this JC things is for no? Sharing of information.

The problem with you and MCWeb is that you for some inexplicable reason continue to hound me about something that happened over 10 years ago, that involved antisemitism in the workplace at a merit based shop and a lot of other things you know nothing about. But every single time I kindly make a suggestion or offer something I've learned from someone with more knowledge than I, you and a select few start in with the past.

I made no basis off of something that happened at your last shop. That’s between you and them. I make my judgement based off of what you post here as well as Facebook.

A freight hauling company is not a freight airline. Both have been affected differently. The insight you gave, while maybe in good intention had no correlation to the current discussion.

As a practicing Jew who does deal with antisemitism all the time, I was under the belief you were non-practicing. If that is the case how would they have any clue what your religion is? You can PM me if you don’t want it public.
 
We have heard this term before, but aviation is a small small world. During these times it will seem even smaller. I don’t agree with everyone on here, and at times have gone the other way of the advice I’ve received through JC.

I don’t think it’s good to start personally attacking anyone because of the content of their conversation with you. If I were you I’d take a hiatus from JC man, just cool off and go be happy living life. These forums are great at times, but they are also bad when you get wrapped up in negative interactions. Those are the times you should just take a step back and give the forum poo slinging a break. I’m sure you’re stressed, as most are in this current environment. But this isn’t helping the situation at all, is it?

I'm sure this is pointless. With 40% unemployment, GDP shrinking at 2.5 percent per month and a host of other economic factors, including someone pretty high up at the 6th or 7th largest freight hauler in the country telling you he's down to 40%. Would you not agree it would be risky to change from 60% seniority to the plug?

Air or ground freight is a good economic indicator. Lots of economists acknowledge this. But I'm an idiot for talking about it....

Remember when a few of us walked everyone through the psychology of 9/11, ”livestream”? The despair, the psychological changes, the ups, the downs, the glimmers of hope, the despair, the denial, the realization, the bankruptcy, the rebirth?

Trust me, I know what you’re going through because a lot of us have been here before. Once this is over, and it will end, do you want to be the guy who cracked like a dropped fluorescent light bar or someone who networked, found lightness in the dark and circumnavigated himself through this? We’re all eating off the same poop hoagie and yeah, it’s bitter, a little tangy and the cosmos doesn’t care that we don’t like it.

Gosh dammit, I just pulled a Tony Robbins. I said I wasn’t going to do that crap anymore.

How could anyone here do anything meaningful for someone that is about to lose their livelihood?

I borrowed a bike bag from a guy who manages one of the largest friend warehouses in Kent. I repeated what he told me about the freight business as a word of caution to try and help. Actual real help on making a decision that could have years of impact on someones career. Not my expert pilot analysis of the freight world but someone who actually manages furloughed employees take on the current state of freight and its future, as an industry insider. That seems valuable to me but I'm just a guy that borrowed a bike bag so I could go someplace fun.

You don't know us, but we know you. I can't honestly say that I've heard much positive about you in a working environment. Aviation is a very small industry.
 
Apparently AA class received an email saying they misspoke about training beginning in Summer tonight. I guess they saw the forums and realized they made a mistake on their intentions. Not sure I understand.
