Send me a video of you cute dog as a cheer up item? Tell me, how are you not going to help me, but how are you going to help anyone in this coming catastrophe? How could anyone here do anything meaningful for someone that is about to lose their livelihood?

I borrowed a bike bag from a guy who manages one of the largest friend warehouses in Kent. I repeated what he told me about the freight business as a word of caution to try and help. Actual real help on making a decision that could have years of impact on someones career. Not my expert pilot analysis of the freight world but someone who actually manages furloughed employees take on the current state of freight and its future, as an industry insider. That seems valuable to me but I'm just a guy that borrowed a bike bag so I could go someplace fun.

What’s your issue dude? I know it’s not COVID related stress about losing your job because you’ve had this chip on your shoulder attitude towards a lot of people on this board for a couple of years now, which is weird because a lot of the outright hostility seems so out of place. I took a break from here the other week because it seemed like none of the conversations that were going on were really adding anything to my daily life at that point. Sounds like you live in a nice place with some nice mountainbikes. I’d be unplugging and getting some sweet mountain air if I were in your shoes, but best I can do is some oil refinery ass smell.

Oh I'm about to head out for a ride in the best place to do so in the US. But before that I'm having a coffee and looking at a variety of things on the intertubez. Now, I'm in stitches because apparently I'll be missing out on all the help that I could have gotten from all the wonderful people at JetCareers.

I've gotten a lot out of this website, some jobs, made some cool friends I keep in touch with regularly, gotten help with a variety of things I needed help with. If you decide to get nothing but vitriol and anger out of it, that might be on you.

Not exactly. The people from the March 17th class, that were sent home before indoc are being notified they will start training after the results of the vacancy displacement bid are final. They should start training late summer.

Yes that rumor is flying like crazy. I'm curious to how it's possible and if 2021 bookings look better than anticipated. I have small % of hope but I'm not gonna let my daydreaming mind run with it. I'm still picturing me at a bank selling credit cards.

I'll never forget my first post here was to gather information about Mokulele and saying I'd help throw bags since I worked ramp if it meant I'd get paid more to survive in Hawaii (big yikes).

@BobDDuck reemed me a new one as he should have (professionally, no hard feelings) and I was a bit taken aback. 5 years later, I've made a lot of good friends, bunked with some at crashpads, flown with some, etc.

I learned a lot from this place and made a lot of friends. I've also had my fair share of disagreements, but just like a family you move on. I always tell people this forum is a lot more tight nit than APC and has more comradery.
