Eagle Interview

no its not true.

During training until the completing of IOE you can expect to be paid for 64 hours at the starting rate of $25.08 plus 16 hrs of per-diem daily at a rate of $1.80.

That sounds about right. It's actually a contractual thing, although I'm currently too lazy to look it up.

As far as newhire training goes, Eagle does it right. They take good care of you. Free lodging, pay plus per diem, and they made sure we were in the system and had ID so we could nonrev home on weekends ASAP.

Perfect? No. A relatively decent place to work? Pretty much.

Not only that. But they sent me home for a week to do CBT for the CRJ with pay!!

That's actually standard. Our CBT program for the CRJ is very progressive. They've been trying to adapt it to the EMJ fleet since I got to Eagle. Very high training success rates on the CRJ.

Anyone know about how long after getting the "Your app is scheduled for review in 2 days" email it took to get a call one way or another?

Apparently they just got the EMJ CBT approved and will be starting students on in it with the class starting Nov. 8th.

Sweet! Hello, modern training program!

I hear nothing but good things about the CBT programs.

... and just in time, too. I was wondering how our training department was going to handle the influx of newhires.

On some of the gouges I have seen some questions that relate to oxygen requirements, and alternate airport requirements, so to you guys that have done the interview are they looking for prt 91 or 121 answers?
I was gonna read what you wrote, but I couldn't tear my eyes away from your avtar..... THANK YOU!!!

Just curious how long is it taking people to hear back from HR concerning class dates etc. after the conditional offer?

I interviewed 3 weeks ago but still no word...

I interviewed 10 yrs ago and got rejected. (Striking at Comair), they havn't changed the interview much, except not using the dc-8 sim. Have been trying to get back in for the past yr with no luck. Sucks to be me.

Does anyone know how many classes there are in a month? I'm wondering if I will make a November of December class. I interviewed 3 weeks ago.
