Eagle Interview

Congrats but don't forget you still have to pass the Captain's review board on Friday.

Nothing to pass really. As long as all records match and there is nothing in the closet that wasn't disclosed he is in!

Just in time, I want a little more cushion under me! :D

Welcome aboard!!

Nice congrats. Did they say how many they are still looking to hire or anything about how big the classes are going to be?

TT 2100 , Some turbine SIC, and a few internal recs. I believe they said classes ranging from 10-20. But I don't know that for a fact. And the last I heard was 20ish a month.

Hey Guys,

So I've got an Eagle interview coming up next week. Right now my personal logbook and the flight time grid on the pilot application supplement jive up perfectly. However, on my airlineapps.com flight time grid, a few sections have +/- 1 hour when compared to my logbook/grid sheet. I have a feeling airlineapps did some weird rounding or something and I can't seem to change it. How do you think Eagle will view this?

Nevermind...found the error!

Question about the tech portion....

If I'm a current 135 pilot, are they looking for my 135 knowledge (Alternates, duty times, O2 reqs, etc) or 121, or both? Just want to know where to concentrate my study.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I have an interview with Eagle coming up next week and would like to see if anyone could scan and send me the jepp airport diagram front and back pages to DFW. if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all!

I wonder if they will hire directly from ACE like they used to do in the past at career fairs.

Ask around your flight school. Somebody's got to have one.

If not, just get handy at reading things on an Jepp Class B airport surface chart. The only real thing that stands out on the DFW chart is the 'telephone' icon down the middle of the chart- it's the freq change point on the bridges to switch Ground Control Freqs.

The stuff you need to know on the back are things like takeoff minima regarding RVR. If you can read this in general, you can understand what they'll likely ask you about the DFW chart.

STAR questions will be things like on the BYP5 arrival, if you're landing runway 17C, what altitude and speed should you expect to cross KARLA at?

It's just a precursor to daily-dozen stuff we do out of DFW.

November 11th for me. Nowadays if they offer you a job, how long can one expect to wait before they give you a class? What are the chances of EMJ ORD?

I interviewed a week ago... They told me I should get a call in 3-4 weeks for the medical part and then after that they said usually about 2 more weeks before your class date. If anyone else has got a class date recently I would like to know how long it took.

Is it true they pay $25.80x 8hrs during training? Know where you're potentially headed, fly6785?
no its not true.

During training until the completing of IOE you can expect to be paid for 64 hours at the starting rate of $25.08 plus 16 hrs of per-diem daily at a rate of $1.80.
