(the only people that refer to someone as not being delta material are not delta pilots- I've only heard it from regional guys complaining xxx who busted)

Unfortunately,, the only thing to cure the old timers of using that phrase is retirement. My windmill is to stop it at the new hire end.

Actually, for me, no. I've solved all the big issues that have any immediate impact on me or my family. As for any macro issues beyond my control, well, steps have been taken and plans made. Life for me is good. Fly my trips, cash the checks, and stay one step ahead of the taxman.
 
So...hearing See Ya on the radio shouldn't really cause such consternation for you then correct? Since, well, it appears everything else of far greater importance is stable.

It's okay to say "Yes, you're right..."
