Delta/Endeavor SSP Extended to All Pilots

Not really. From the outside looking in, the Widget Wings seem to make guys have a higher opinion of their place of employment than the other places. Nothing wrong with it (and completely understandable based on current performance) but the emphasis on being "Delta material" seems to be much more critical in getting hired there than being "XXXX material" at at other shops.

My facebook wall filled with Hawaiian 717s hashtagged 15 times begs to differ. ;) :D

(the only people that refer to someone as not being delta material are not delta pilots- I've only heard it from regional guys complaining xxx who busted)

Career handcuffs are awesome.

Instead of getting hired someplace on your own merits you now get to get hired after your lucky lottery number has been selected - and in this case - even then it's not a guaranteed job.

Enjoy it, I think.

That's a Union job for ya. Smh.

New philosophy, lol [emoji3] If you can't beat them join them.

My willingness to roll the hard six and "settle" for the turboprop is why my lateral move worked out...and now I'm flying bigger equipment and being treated, I think, better than my Beaglevoy counterparts.

What does that have to do with a guy showing up to class somewhere without an interview?

Ironically I heard a Delta flight use the fish finder verbiage last night. I agree it needs to die a quick and horrible death.
Unfortunately,, the only thing to cure the old timers of using that phrase is retirement. My windmill is to stop it at the new hire end.

I think you uploaded the wrong picture. I fixed the link for you.

Delta and pilot have been mentioned in the same sentence!

Now, a top secret look into the crew room:

Ironically I heard a Delta flight use the fish finder verbiage last night. I agree it needs to die a quick and horrible death.
Is "traffic not in sight" or the non-AIM but equally useful/valid/clear "we're lookin'" really that hard?

Don't like See Ya huh?

There are bigger problems to solve, yes?
Actually, for me, no. I've solved all the big issues that have any immediate impact on me or my family. As for any macro issues beyond my control, well, steps have been taken and plans made. Life for me is good. Fly my trips, cash the checks, and stay one step ahead of the taxman.

So...hearing See Ya on the radio shouldn't really cause such consternation for you then correct? Since, well, it appears everything else of far greater importance is stable.

It's okay to say "Yes, you're right..."
