Current Employment Verification

List the information as it was when you left the company. Your responsibility is to provide accurate information in regards to your employment. Not after your employment.

For those of us who want to know... will you all post when your employers are contacted???

PS: I am telling "bossman" tomorrow. It is kinda sad... he is awesome!- wish me luck!

Boy howdy... if that's supposed to be your employer's and it's in your hands, with your name and the barcode on it... heh..

Just saying, I wouldn't broadcast that on these boards for the FAA to see. Just my .02 :)

I was thinking the exact same thing....

Listing your work history is not needed if you are a CTI grad, as college experience compensates for work experience. Is this true? Let's say you have a commercial pilot's licenses, college degree, CTI grad etc, would you still need to list your current job on the application if you don't want to?

What is being referred to here is the work history you must account for in order to obtain your security clearance. That information MUST be listed, accounting for the past 8 years, assuming you have that much work history to account for.

For your job application, I'd at least list your current job. They don't contact them until they are doing the background investigation.

I used to work for Clear Channel Television (prior to the buyout). Shortly after I left, my supervisor got canned and his boss got canned. Sow since the Television is under a new name and no supervisors to vouch for me, how will that work?

It's been mentioned before that many employers don't even return this and that FOLs are often sent before it would be reasonable to expect that it could have possibly been returned.

I think it would be nearly impossible to reach every former employer of every interviewee. Unless someone sends it back saying "sorry we have no record of that person working here" then I think you're okay.

p.s. If that happens, just produce your W-2 as proof

Ok, i understand what you are trying to say.

No.. they're still waiting on my medical clearance, which should be in within the month *crosses fingers*

Me too. I did my physical around the 1st of February but they didn't run an EKG one me because the form that came from the FAA didn't have it marked. AND, I found out that the doctor's office didn't even forward the hard copies of the medical results until the END of February!!!

I had to have the FAA (Audrey Figurski) send them a new request to have an EKG done. Now that that's out of the way I guess I'm just waiting on a TOL. :)

Chris

I have called her no less then 20 times and never gotten ahold of her. If anybody has an email for her I would love you forever.
