Azerbaijan Airlines Crash

Germany and Japan started this type of warfare during WW2. V1, V2 rockets and incendiary balloons. You're looking at technology improving and blaming the latest entity to make some improvements and use of the technology.

So when drones with guns or bombs fly over a major metro city in the US, can we not call it being attached because we are free people and others hate our freedoms?

You feed your ego this way. That’s not on me. Whatever floats your boat.

I will, uhh, stop frequenting your, uhhh, website to errr… feed your ego.

This is weird. I feel like I need to add you to the list of suspects if I get murdered and there is no apparent suspect.

Please, see if you can go 24 hours without tagging me or begging me for attention. Time hack 12/26/2024 @ 1516…. GO!

Another possibility, like what happened when the Ukrainians shot down an airliner a few years ago, was the missile lost its target (perhaps it got intercepted by another) and then re-locked onto the airliner. In the Ukrainian incident, the airliner was like 150 miles away from the exercise area but the missile still got it.

Entirely possible. Definitely in the bin of consideration with a few other scenarios insofar as the engagement theory goes.

So Ukraine launched drones at Russia, Russia countered drones and then struck this E190 accidentally assuming it was a Ukrainian drone. Do I have that right?
The lengths you go to in order to minimize Russia's aggressive war against a sovereign nation are amazing. I'd suggest applying for Aeroflot so when they passed on you we'd be looking at "Oh Aeroflot" threads whenever they screwed something up.

Amazing how selective Americans are when it comes to their outrage about a country’s sovereignty being attacked / violated.

ICAO Article 25 of the Chicago Convention requires countries to allow entry and landing to aircraft in distress.

Is Russia an ICAO member country? If so, what would their penalty be for not allowing an emergency landing?

He groups us together. We live within 40 miles of each other and we've never met. He thinks we're in some sort of solidarity. I'm unsure why other than we both post things the majority of people here don't agree with. In this context I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we find out a passenger airliner was shot down by a Russian missile but I agree with you that Russia already took back what they wanted and the current meat grinder is being financed by us. There were treaties agreed to two years ago that were canceled by holding the carrot of NATO membership in the nose of Ukraine and its "new" government. I agree with you on this one point, we both don't care who wins that war we just want it to end.

Which is weird beause we have a briefing by the Russians that an aircraft in despair would be granted passage without resistance into Russia.

They even talk about cultural differences on how to communicate with them.

“I am the captain, I am declaring an emergency” versus “I am the captain, I am concerned for the wellbeing of my crew and passengers and beg you to help them”

I’m very shocked that they wouldn’t have wanted the aircraft to land at one of their airfields so they could ‘disappear’ the evidence. But since we have those, even in America, that are going to downplay them shooting down yet ANOTHER aircraft, what’s the point of dealing with requisition orders, subcontractors and the bloody mess that is of their doing.

It’s efficiency since both of you display mal-behaviors from the same chapter and sentence in the DSM-V with little variance.

I”m just the messenger! :)

Here's your delusion on display. I don't think anyone here believes the bird strike story or any other narrative. You're trying to foment angst when the angst already exists. It would not surprise me if the final report about this accident states the airplane was shot down, the difference between you and I have is while I do care about the crew and passengers on that flight I'm ambivalent regarding that war. I don't care.

Wait a second, you're reading medical journals? I call •, I'm guessing Max sent you whatever it is you read, post it here. You're nothing more than an airline captain at a major US airline. That's a pretty cool place to be but you're no smarter than the guy who operates an excavator, makes the same money with a pension and spends nights and weekends either at home or on the lake. There's a whole world out there that doesn't care about airlines, airplanes or aviation in general. I'm not saying you're a bad person, I'm just saying the majority of the population doesn't care.

Are you saying that guys (not gals?) who operate excavators all have the same level of intelligence as each other? That’s a weird take.

Patton was right.

I mean, they’re literally shooting planes out of the sky and large swathes of America sit around in holding patterns waiting for Russian propaganda to feed their “plants” talking points.

I don’t recall this level of Russophilia during the KAL 007 shoot-down when I was a kid.

Vlad certainly learned how to manipulate the American zeitgeist like a pro. All sexy, shirtless on that horse with a shotgun, male middle-aged America’s very own thirst trap.

I have and you should, they’re a lot of fun.

For a person who apparently doesn’t care what people think about him, you never miss an opportunity to talk to me about how you feel about things I’ve said.

I wish you were a buxom redhead! :)
