It's amazing what they'll let you get away with if you wear a big furry suit and an oversized head. :) I, on the other hand, had to sport the clean cut look since people actually had to look at my face.

sidetrack....hulu.com has all the recent family guy episodes in full, along with the simpsons and american gladiators, too name a few, basically a joint production from NBC and FOX to put full episodes online, only problem is, it is in the beta phase so once you request a membership, it can take a while to get the invite, it took me a little over a month, but it is worth it

well, she did get all jumpy quickly....so i'm thinking she's heard this all before...just hasn't been able to get the "validation" she needs to feel good about it.

There were a couple of flame baiters who came on another site that a few of us formerly hung out on, who posed as a woman and flame baited minorities, women, people who leaned to the left, etc. Anything to get a reaction to their pathetic existence. It went on for some time until we eventually left. I don't care to hang around sites that perpetuate that sort of behavior or mind set. Most people who discover a site, hang around and lurk for a few days, weeks, or months, and read a bit first before they come out and post - let alone post aggressively! I think it's mighty suspicious that someone who just joined up would post and react in such a fashion unless they are a flame baiter. Because I'm so old, I've been on the internet since it was created, and I can generally smell "social engineering" fairly quickly.

I am pretty sure he knew but he still applied, morons like that bring the standard down and no one should have any remorse telling it in their face.

Tell your husband to grow a pair and get into the industry the right way. Skybus is joke, a ploy by money hungry dirtbags and the company will be lucky it survives a year at best. Anyone who thinks about going to Skybus doesn't know a damn thing about the aviation industry.

Sorry, Steve, but when someone is actively cutting your professional throat, you really don't give a cr@p about delivery style.

The message has to get out. Skybus, Allegiant, Virgin and jetBlue are cancers on the piloting profession and their pilots are the "Typhoid Marys".

Because without unprinicipled people to man the airplanes, the companies would go out of business. But they keep flying solely because there are those who will work for them.

Your choice I guess.

I happen to (mostly) agree with your points, at least the basic premise behind them. I just think that you turn more people away from your line of thinking than you convert simply because of your venomous delivery.

<shrug>
 
Possibly, I'm not trying to convert anyone. Just expressing my disgust for anyone who is low enough to stab their professional brothers in the back.
