Any good aviation movies?

Already mentioned, and not an aviation movie....just a comedy that happens to have parts with great flying and stunt scenes; 1985's Fandango.

These days, where stunts are a dying thing ("just CGI it"); you won't find stunts of this caliber anymore. Great stuff. Hell, just getting permits to film in urban/congested locations like this with these sort of aerial stunts is unlikely anymore.

GREAT film. Loved the 'jump school' scene. That was awesome.

Iron Eagle is among the worst aviation movies of all time. Its the Footloose of aviation. Nuff said.

Just watched, "Only Angels Have Wings" on TCM. Thought it was a fantastic film. 1939 B/W with Cary Grant. Very good stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed it, will probably get the DVD tomorrow.


And since some of you are adding movies with no aviation in it, except for one scene, let's not forget the classic, "Hook"
