@Cherokee_Cruiser - you guys don’t do a stab cutout check during preflight?
Interesting. Always fascinating to see how different operators run their fleets. No such requirement.
I had one FO do that every leg at the gate during flight prep. I didn’t mind it.
But let alone a stab cutout check, I don’t think I even see a stab trim cheek itself. The “rudder / aileron trim” item in checklist , response “free, and zero” should have a stab trim in there too. But no.
Do y’all always look at the maint page in the max when you do the control check or was that just the really odd captain I was JS with?Interesting. Always fascinating to see how different operators run their fleets.
And I guess flipping the trim air switch isn’t the weirdest thing a 73 operator does (or doesn’t do) after all.
They can't rent a bus....? ;-)
No… just the SYS page to see the flight control movements.Do y’all always look at the maint page in the max when you do the control check or was that just the really odd captain I was JS with?
ah, that’s what it was….yah we don’t do thatNo… just the SYS page to see the flight control movements.
oops I read it as HNL-Kaneohe......west-coast to kaneohe then to hnl......Long way to float to the west coast from there.
I like guaranteed raises.
Less lifting to do, later, too.I like guaranteed raises.
Now we don’t have to worry about contract negotiations dragging on. I don’t think they will, given the speed that everything has happened at so far, but it’s nice to know we won’t fall behind if it does. Also, I never would have thought I’d make the hourly wage that we get now.Less lifting to do, later, too.
Just under 7 weeks to year 2 payI never would have thought I’d make the hourly wage that we get now.
Do you have an hourly counter going?Just under 7 weeks to year 2 pay
