Oh no, I think it is pretty funny but you can't tell me it is not childish to reply to every sentence with, "yeah, the Air Force is stupid", "yeah the Air Force is stupid and scared of guns", "yeah the Air Force is full of fatbodies", yeah, the Marines are all in it for the country, the Air Force is all about the benefits". We all get the same benefits and we are all serving our country. If you don't get anything back from your service then you are an idiot.

What did I get back for my service? I sleep better at night knowing that I gave to my country with NOTHING EXPECTED in return. If I get something? Cool. If I don't? Well, it wasn't expected.
When I joined the Corps, the G.I. Bill wouldn't have covered a year at a community college, there was no "Marine Corps College Fund" and tuition assistance wasn't close to 100%.
I had the scores to do alot of things, but I chose to be an infantryman.

The military helped you out as well and it isn't so rough being in the military. You had free health care, a roof over your head, job security, they kept you in shape, and hopefully taught or pounded some wisdom into your head. Ok, first of all, you and I both know that being in the military means carrying on the tradition of swearing up a storm and I am proud to carry on with the tradition. The goal is to use foul language so much that it completely loses it's meaning which will make it possible to bring swearing into places it was normaly not accepted like church's, grade schools, and important business meetings.
Second of all, saying you sleep with our wives is in my opinion worse than foul language.

This is the part that the Gomer Pyles don't get because of their swollen egos. The AF does its thing in a low-key way without the annoying hype and chest-thumping that comes with the Corps. Gomers haven't caught up to the 21st century where technology wins. Need something moved from the U.S. Midwest to the Middle East in a matter of hours? USAF. Need to bomb the cr@p out of an enemy position? USAF again. "No reason to be a bad ass" is right on - just doing the job.
Where have Marines set foot nowadays where the USAF hasn't already laid down some hellfire to clear the path (or COULD have if the strategic leaders wanted to)?
Gomers still have the mentality that they can just march around and conquer places as if we were living 200 years ago. Duh, we're Marines and we'll march to Iraq from camp Pendleton, Guh!! There's an ocean in the way? Uhhhhhh, I know! Let's ride on a ship and we'll be there in no time, Doy! Sure....sailing was slow when Christopher Columbus did it and it's still slow today.
I see that MTSU has added a goofy USMC recruiting banner at the bottom of his posts. OK, I can stir the pot too: here comes one of the most stinging insults that can be brought to bear on a Marine (they HATE this one)! Ready........here goes:

Alright alright, I just have to set the record straight.
Sure there is a number of "geeks" in the Air Force that sit in front of a computer and complain that they have to work past 1600 (again mickeys big hand is on the twelve and little hand on the 4
) But for every person like that in the Air Force I've met at least 5 more that are mission oriented and get the job done. I fly as a Loadmaster on Talon II's and every person I've met in AFSOC takes great pride in their job and what they do. To those of you that just read this and see intense rivalry know that I've airdropped Marines and Army guys out of my plane at the same time and we all get along to get the mission done (although at the end of the day we're still the Zipper-suited Sun-Gods). As well I know several people that have been on 29+ hour flights and they dont bitch about it. I just wanted to set it straight that not everyone in the Air Force is a bunch of whiners who sit in front of a computer.
