76 C177 RG

Maybe this is a place to share. Helped my buddy rebuild a 76 Cardinal RG this past summer/winter. I was pretty much his monkey doing work he assigned to me. Was a pretty awesome project, learned a bunch. 1700 hrs on the airframe and zero on the engine.

About 60K all said and done.
$60K for a guy who knows what the heck he's doing hahaha.
If that was me, it would probably cost me $150+ paying someone

I'm trying to sell the Stinson. Once I do, I'm going to order a T-51D kit. The wife is onboard, but I have to sell the Stinson and finish school, which will be a few more months yet.
I to sit on my ass a lot. It's great!
Am I to understand that the T-51D can be a light sport, in other words a fully certified airplane? Does that mean one could generate revenue from it?
I can’t see the day I’ll have enough disposable income for an experimental aircraft. But if I can sell tail wheel endorsements, basic acro instruction and rides at fly-ins, well then now we’re talking.
(Got a link to your Stinson for sale?)

Pretty sure I saw this bird at KBRD today...

Did not put two and two together till about 6 hours later when I got home..

Were you there too? I was preflighting the 172 and was getting ready to depart when the bird landed.
