Island Bus Driver
You know, I'll admit, that most of the time it is pretty easy being an RJ driver. I mean, sure we have some of the same problems that freight dogs have. Engines that stop working, gears that won't come up. Etc. And sure, you guys have a lot of issues that we don't have. Single pilot. Crap weather (actually, we have that one too... we can just climb over it some times), no auto pilot etc... But when was the last time you had to return to the gate because your box in 12C was drunk and trying to beat the #### out of the box in 12D? Or when was the last time you were forced to return to the gate because the load on pallet 3 was on the TSA no fly list and somehow made it through check in and security. Or, less far fetched then that, have you ever had a box that was afraid to fly and screamed bloody murder as you taxied out to the runway? Personally, I'd rather deal with these problems then dodging thunderstorms at 10K with no radar at night. But hey, to each their own.
