Air Wagner

Every time this thread pops up I think “uh oh”
I saw a report this morning of a Golden Eagle window blow-out and immediately thought "Jerry!"

His antics have broken a part of us.

When my career is no longer flying, I think I’m gonna make a YouTube channel and be a Jerry. Intentionally make it look like I’m doing dumb stuff and double down on it to drive engagement and revenue.

First video gonna me “Insurrance company made me fly with a safety pilot” get some poor CFI to sit right seat and let me call him “my chimpanzee” for an hour.

Gimme 20% and I'm your huckleberry.

I'm missing something. I don't understand that whole dialog with the Ground controller during the first four minutes. Never mind not having checked the frequencies. Why is Jerry taxiing to the runway run-up area before picking up his IFR clearance. If I'm not mistaken, standard procedure at VNY is to contact CD before taxi.

When in the history of Jerry, has standard ever been a factor in his operation? I’d say that Non-standard is the only standard thing Jerry does.

Wake turbulence? The standard method to avoid getting flipped is to wait. Jerry’s choice? Lazily hang slightly right of centerline, but not really right, just far enough right so that only 1/2 of his airplane is under the vortex.
