Alaskan LOA offer

It never does.

As far as the LOA thing goes they are just trying to be a bit more profitable for Q1 to make the shareholders happy. If my house flip had sold, I'd probably take the month off and get really good at snowboarding somewhere rad.

Considering the number of powder hounds, surfers and dudes that shred moto here I think they will get plenty of takers.

Just do it. You aren't gonna look back in 20 years and say "I regret having a month of fun that January"

I agree, even with the lame incentive offer, there will be plenty from the airline of "you tried to reduce credit this month but reserve coverage would like to have a word with you"

I think I'm still too steeped in regional pilot mode that yearly LOAs are such a foreign concept to me.
Dude I just took one for the month of Nov. Best thing ever. Did some traveling, a bunch of cooking. The local brew-tenders are my bff's. No regrets. Do it if you can.

I always thought how much the Dallas suburbs reminded me of that show. Then I thought it was hilarious when I actually moved in across Tom Landry Elementary School
There’s a reason for that.

Mike Judge is from a north Dallas suburb; Richardson, I think.

Arlen, TX is modeled on a combination of Arlington TX and (more accurately, IMHO) Garland, TX.

Taking our long term leave was the absolute best decision I’ve ever made personally and professionally. I just wish that I wasn't recalled early.

100% recommend.

I dunno if it's a thing where we're at, but the new house and all the repairs won't lend themselves to a month off :(
