You have to go into PBS and click on seniority list in PBS to see where you stand bidding wise. You think you're 100, but there's probably 20 people not bidding making you 80.

Edit: I know being 80/80 instead of 100/80 (which doesn't happen) changes nothing. But that seniority list will help always. You could be 71 or 79. The info is also on the main page of PBS after you login.

Ok , why would 20 people on reserve not be bidding? I still can't login to the bid now to get info from there until done with IOE, I can see bid info from the pbs link and that's about it.

They don't have to be on reserve. Say 20 are working on the training department. That means 20 are not bidding. Lots of reasons for someone not to bid. I'm on Mil leave so I am not bidding but I'm still on the seniority list.

What Waterrooster said. Plus people could be on leave of absence, FMLA, or maybe they got awarded the base but haven't finished training yet and can't bid yet. Also, in Denver, a high percentage of guys are bidding Aspen and aren't bidding in PBS but still show up on the seniority list.

In fact, since you haven't finished IOE yet, your name probably appears as one of those people "not bidding." If you finish IOE before the 7th of March, you'll be able to bid starting 10-17 march for an April schedule.

On the ERJ, they weren't mandatory. I waited a month for IOE so I just jumped on a local a few times for observation rides. If you live in PHX and are on the CRJ, just find a good local with a decent load (be sure not to bump a jumpseater trying to get to work) and that should work.
 
How does seniority work at the SkyWest Cadet program work -- I am guess it is specific to your class? Additionally, how far out from your availability can you apply with the program?
