When you go to new hire class you will be above everyone that isn't a cadet. You will just compete with other cadets on seniority. It's definitely worth it. I would have been like 15 in my class without it but ended up 3. It comes in handy when bidding for sims. How does seniority work at the SkyWest Cadet program work -- I am guess it is specific to your class? Additionally, how far out from your availability can you apply with the program?
Anybody heard anything about all the recent failures during the ERJ LOEs? Apparently 5-6 crews failed last week...

Zero on the report doesn't necessarily mean no movement.Looking at the latest DVR's.. No movement in PDX again... Bummer

Management also told me that the quarterly bonuses will go off your cadet hire date. So instead of waiting a year, you could reduce that. Also, your travel seniority for the flight benefits goes off your cadet date.
There's no obligations if you join and go to another airline. No contracts so really if you're able to do it then I definitely would. Free trip out to SLC, you get a badge and get to see the hangar.
You can apply whenever. Do it sooner rather than later. I've known cadets with 1-2 years before they started class.

Yup.Hate the game, not the player!
How do you request a golden day and when do new hires get them? We get like 3 or 4?
It said under vacation info that you request it via SkedPlus but I can't find it. I need to be done with IOE?

Yeah by the end of the class I actually dropped to 5 because a ramper moved up to 1 and former Expressjet pilot moved 2. I was just happy I got the sim schedule I wanted.Agree except you might not be senior in class. I was senior to the 2 cadets in my class. 8)

Tomorrow night. You can call and "suggest" days to sit reserve.Again with another noob question. I have a composite line next month apparently, but the days that aren't trips are just stars. I'm trying to plan for next month and don't know when my days off are, is there a way to find out? When does sched plus populate next month?
