They need to make them a supplier. The shirts are fantastic and actually fit tall fit guys. Best of all, if they dont, you can send it back until you find a fit that actually works. The pants are expensive, but mine are well over a year old and look brand new still.

When I started, it was 7 years to hold EM2 CA, and probably more like 10 to hold CRJ CA. Also, FO in a jet equipment type on the West Coast was a multi-year-type thing.

Now, however...
 
Crazy how the times have changed. I commuted to reserve for five months and live in base now. I did it for just a short time and I have a ton of respect for those of you who did it for years. It's not easy
 
I had my Skype interview from South Africa on Wednesday and got an offer on the spot! I will be starting CTP on Jan 9th and then E175 class on Feb 2nd. I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of you guys in person!

I'm one of those two year wonders, got the email last week. Problem is, I don't want the upgrade class next month because it conflicted with the master vacation I was awarded (which SGU now conveniently canceled, how nice). Already sent emails to V and TG with no hope of reprieve unless you guys have another option.

I do have the nuclear option of not renewing my medical, since that's due at the end of the month and I'm already having issues from the FAA about renewal...

Did you add an after date? If not, you might be SOL...

You bid for it, you got it. Don't expect them to change their planning because you didn't think it through. As far as your nuclear option. ...just don't do it! Never play around with the only piece of paper that keeps you in the game. Besides, there are too many people around that want to be in your position but can't because of medical issues. At least try to find the bright side of your situation. Lick your wounds, go to class, and work out vacation later.

Careful on the medical, could takes MONTHS to resolve. Been there done that, STD doesn't pay enough for COBRA. LTD barely does.

Yeah, no. Authorization to turn down the award will require TTG'a approval, and "muh master vacation" isn't a good reason.

I'm telling you to go to class; it would be the same thing you'd get if you called me. You were awarded a magic two year upgrade that you bid for, so...

And messing with your medical is a dumb idea.
