Denver or Colorado Springs...preferably COS
Either will get you to DEN... at some point. I think there is progression on the CRJ, but it's mainly in MSP or DTW. I'm a may hire on the CRJ and am hoping to be awarded DEN by the new year.

Sweet...so the movement to DEN on the CRJ hasn't been fast like some recruiters suggest. Is that what to expect for a base like COS as well?

Maybe someone who is based there can speak further about it but from what I've seen they are not replacing the people who have transferred out the last three months. Atleast in DEN that is. It really is hard to say what will happen by the time you get done as we have all the ERJs coming online and I really don't know what it's going to do to the operation.

I'm not sure what the plan is for Denver. My friends who were new hires this past winter got DEN before finishing IOE. Then the movement seemed to stop on the CRJ side and people were getting DEN pretty quickly on the E175.

According to a recent RSR, the majority of the 700 flying in Denver is going away and will be done by the E-175. Ive been telling my friends who want DEN to try to get the E175 as a new hire.

Just goes to show ya, all about timing and nearly impossible to predict. When I started people were also getting it off IOE but that's not the case anymore. People junior to me on the ERJ have been awarded DEN if that says anything.

At the same time, one has to wonder how many will transition from the CRJ to the ERJ in DEN. If you get in before that happens, I suppose you're golden in regards to being home based

and doesn't look stupid with your faded black Ross/Marshalls/TJMaxx slacks you acquired for $12. you insist on passing off as uniform pants.
Hey, if I didn't order two pairs of the same size pants from a uniform vendor where one was sucking my gut in at the top and simultaneously wider than bell bottoms at the bottom, and the other entirely looks like I'm swimming in wool, unhemmed when I ordered them hemmed, this wouldn't be an issue. :P

Well good to know. I figured it was a no brainer to take the CRJ because reserve was longer on the ERJ and you'd get what bases you wanted on the CRJ. I guess it's all changing. Oh well, may as well just stick with what a picked.

I find I expand faster than my pants lately, so....I got it at Ross....

I wanted ORD and got it with no problems and didn't get reserves. It depended on what you wanted.

I made it to SFO 4 months out of training, only worked reserve 3 non-consecutive months and this month I have 2 weekends off.

Well, some of us were told in class "you guys won't be on reserve." 1 year off IOE later I noped out to the only base where I'd 100% hold a line... still wouldn't hold a line in the old, typically junior base. Things change.

Does it look like PDX will continue to be junior? Biggest reason I chose the 175 was to end up in PDX. SEA is an easy commute as well
