Anyone else remember that time an AA B777 diverted into Shemya because they thought it was on fire?

Ended up just a quick quip on the news, as it was uneventful other than the red light upfront.

We were a recommendation away from landing in Western Greenland yesterday when an expectant mother thought she was going into labor.

Pull out the approach chart, fly the profile like it's any standard mountainous/high-obstacle approach and do it.

I always rate the difficulty of an approach on whether I have to put my coffee down while flying the approach. I know it's serious when even the non-flying pilot puts his coffee down.

As much as I love AS, DAL pleas bring on the competition. While your at it would you mind adding a PADL, PAKN, which could be combined on one flight, even if it's only seasonal. We desperately need competition.

I have a funny feeling that Alaska will offset the loss of a price war by hiking up the gouge on its monopoly runs.

Plus, perhaps flying into Juno isn't as hard as you think it is.

I wrecked my first simulated landing in an MD-11 simulator while @Bigey, who wasn't even a private pilot at the time (I think), greased it in the same conditions.

What did that prove?

Absolutely nothing.
That you're a hack and should quit now before anyone gets hurt!!
:sarcasm:

:p, hope you can take a better ribbing than people on the "other" blue sight.

I can put @Polar742 on my shoulder Voltron-style and then proceed to whip your ass, son.
