Malaysia Airlines 777 missing

What is your basis for saying this?
I won't care to speculate anything about an aircraft other than he basics but don't tell what radar or ADsB can or cannot that is my meal ticket. Like I said before it would have taken less than 5 minutes to do a playback based on my experience, in a later discussion I was enlightened by a member that not all psr have playback capability. This was news

$10 Billion? Really? According to the Rio Tinto Group, in 2002 the diamonds produced and released to the market were valued at US$9 billion.
So you estimate that one plane is carrying approximately one year's worth of diamond production? Even if that dubious theory were correct, it's doubtful the plane could lift the weight. Even if you sold the diamonds for $10BB cash denominated in $100 bills, the plane would need to be able to lift 204,000lbs.

There have been cases where I have seen a couple billion in gold (30,000 lbs) being transported on the widebodies. Not 10 billion, but that's still a lot of zeros and not without joking remarks of "I wonder if we can find an island to ditch this thing." Not serious, of course, but it's also a non-zero probability that someone might try.

The way they went NORDO right at the FIR boundary handoff and shut off the transponder there...plus disabling the ACARS not long prior.... all scream that a human commandeered the aircraft. Unfortunately, that doesn't rule out one or both the pilots being said human. I really don't see this ending up being a decompression or fire incident at all. None of those check off all the boxes of creating the failures and events that we know so far.

Now the motives for hijacking the plane... we'll see, maybe.

I like beer as much as the next guy but your spelling and grammar befuddle me. Perhaps you should post around noon in whatever time zone your in.

Btw people the $10 billion thing was a joke, simply examine the number of conditional tenses. I figured since everyone was presenting a theory why not present one of my own, additionally there is no evidence that the value of something is proportional to its size, in the end its value depends on what an individual is willing to spend.
Case in point the Eagles spent a boat load of money on Nnamdi Asomgoah, was it worth it in the end?

Are you suffering from multiple personalities or multiple devices, because I can't find anything in this post that sucks?

Yes my supervisor was right there as well as the unit chief, I informed him that it was to check our primary radar, he complied, but was noticeably quite nervous, and yes Im ATC.

Just stop that right there OK. You're no more a controller than I am a gymnast. You've insulted members here who happen to have vast amounts of experience in many facets of aviation. You've been called out accordingly and now you're insulting my career field. There are several controllers in all specialties in more than one country here who can tell you exactly what happens when a pilot turns off their XPDR. SSR radar, plane vanishes, primary returns, still there albeit, no information unless the system tracks. Tower? I spy with my little eye. That's day one ATC stuff right there.

With asking to squawk standby, its much more "say again" and a whole lot less "you sure"?

You need to check primary? Check for the primary symbol. You NEVER needlessly degrade available information such as a secondary hit. Tell your unit chief hi for me. Maybe he'll get me an in into the sectors I work in real life.

Thank you. I didn't want to respond to that one. I have never been asked, nor heard anyone asked to turn their transponder off to "check the primary radar." Figured I'd leave it to the specialists on that one for the facts.

That's right, it's @Derg s living room. And it's not up to you how it runs. There's a lot of people here holding high positions (in the real world) that don't try to define how this place runs, but simply contribute and become occasionally frustrated.

Naw, this has gotta be @Derg's garage. There is no way the man would let the likes of me into his living room.
