Antisocial Monster
JTrain is a Capt now?![]()
I like to think I'm a bigger ass in person than I am on here, thank you very much
At the very least I'm MUCH more vulgar!

Just an outsider looking in. This industry is unfortunately viewed by our brethren as a result based system. If someone went to Gulfstream and it worked for him, why couldn't it work for himself. I'm not agreeing with Gulfstream but that's the logic, and I can also see that side of the argument. I also find it laughable that some go to work for McDonald's wages and then bash others who pay to work and that's viewed on two different sides of the spectrum, when really, they're real damn close.
So give the choice between being paid $13,000 and PAYING $13,000, you see them as a coin toss? Maybe it's time for required math course for the private?
RJFO + $-1,000,000 in debt > Everything else in the world
Was that the right math? :laff:
Lol, thank God Riddle gave me a scholorship.
Besides, I was smart, I flew Tprops when I was done. No dirty RJ on me!
What are you flying now, again? Oh, yeah. The -900 isn't a "regional jet." Turn your epaulets right side up, monkey.![]()
I have it on good word that the Gulfstream Training Academy has been shut down by the new Gulfstream Airline owners. They are going to run an airline--not a training academy from now on.
Joe
If they did, it might be enough to convince me to actually finish my commercial. Out and back to TPA would be a nice life.

Here's some math, I more then double Lake's pilots flying a 402 around, in this scenario my math works.
But your max pay will most likely never come close to what a regional captain will make.
But how long do you think you'd last commuting to $18/hr in Bradford, PA?
I wouldn't base a career decision on a base/schedule at a single airline. I flew with a captain who was super-senior in ATL when we had a base there, flying three locals a week for excellent pay (for a regional), spending a ton of time with his wife and kids. ATL shuts down, and now he's commuting to 4 day trips 800 miles away.

And I make more than the top Mistakes CA as a stupid RJ FO. This and your statement have nothing to do with my question. Let's try again.
The question was, by your logic, being paid 13k or paying someone 13k is a coin toss. Back to our program!
Were these "discrepancies" intentional?
