This argument is just going to roll around in circles and not get anywhere but I'll try one more time. If you can bash someone for going to Gulfstream which in this scenario is a net of 26K then I can bash someone for working at an airline where I net more then 26K more then them bopping around in either comparable or smaller equipment.
So you are saying you either misspoke or now realize what you said didn't make sense, because even you must realize you are the only one talking in circles. Trying to change the question or your remarks is fairly see through. I will assume you realize now what you said made no sense.
In any cash, bash whoever you want, I'm the last guy that should be judging who anyone bashed on this board. My only question was if you believe being paid $13K and paying someone else $13K is really the same thing or equivalent. Obviously you do not even believe that as evidence by the redirects.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was Colgan. Our "planning" department has a hard time tracking who still works here. I know of a few guys who are on our current list, but are gone. To include one guy in our top ten.
if i had to guess, it has to do with the doh issue with pcl pilots.
PNCL negotiating team has asked for the list to be delayed until mid June. If these idiots are your reps, call them and ask why. Hasn't Erickson and his group of fools had plenty of time to get a correct list? What exactly does he do on his full time buyout?
I've been told the Pinnacle list had problems, no idea about the Colgan list. I doubt Erickson and his boys meant any offense, they just trusted the company to finally have this right. Who knows, it sounds fairly convoluted and it's possible the PCL SLI group thought everything was finally ironed out.
What's important is that mistakes were made and the Mesaba guys caught it, and that verifies to me and to our pilot group that the right people are in place. Can you imagine if it was 12 months down the road and some lawyer finds it and invalidates the whole thing?
Mesaba has a lot of lifers, and Pinnacle and Colgan do not (in comparison). Sometimes when you know you're gone in a year or two you don't get real worried about the future of your regional airline. The attitude over here is and nearly always has been different. This is a byproduct of bringing that attitude into your day to day work on the committee.
And... Here I go again... it's a good example of why you should all vote in the Mesaba people into the union positions when voting comes around. *duck!*
