Reflections and Advice on the AT-SAT

WOW! I just finished my AT/SAT in Dallas a few hours ago. This thread is so amazingly close to the facts, it's not even funny.:nana2: Thank you thank you. I'm excited to see what my score is. Think I did pretty decent. We'll find out.
Will say...HATED the analogies!:banghead:
Good luck

Thanks! Just got my score back. That was WAY faster than I expected. 95.4!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Now, to sit and wait....:D

Great job! I hear the scores are coming fast this time around, which is nice. Hope the wait goes quicker for you too. Glad the guide helped!

I've decided that the test weighs heavily on your math & not running planes into walls.

But if,

Chicken : Kindergarten as Chain : ??
A: Peanut
B: Yellow
C: Modem
D: Fudruckers

makes any sense at all to you, go directly to Qualified, do not pass go, do not collect $200, do not score Well Qualified.

Could you, please, provide some good links for image analogies:confused:.

Thanks alot:rolleyes:

And MILLION THANKS FOR THE POST!!!:D

Maria

On the analogies, be prepared to read the directions thoroughly! Pay close attention to the examples they provide in practice. It's not the typical method you think it would be. It's almost like they are just seeing who can follow instructions. It was rather confusing to me but it is explained in detail so just make sure to read what they are looking for with those and you'll do great!

took the test yesterday in peach tree city
how is this thing scored
is it based on how well you do compared to others?
the scores they give you for the simulator i got a 80,90,50,80
seems awful to me
anybody else know

:hiya:What do you mean by "for the simulator i got a 80,90,50,80"? What simulator and what scores are those?...

I would have to go with Peanut.

Chicken and Kindergarten both have a single "K" in each word. Chain and Peanut both have a single "A". Both Chicken and Kindergarten end with a vowel and a consonant. Same goes with Chain and Peanut.
