Just thought of it..
If you feel like driving about 3 hours on a weekend for some KILLER BBQ, go to Rivertowne BBQ in Ozark, AR. There are also some wineries a bit further down I-40 in Altus, AR (where they filmed "The Simple Life" with Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie) so you can make it a day of wine tasting, sightseeing, and BBQ. Good time for some fine southern hospitality as well
Wiedekehr's (sp?) winery and Post Familie winery are the two places you can do wine tasting located in Altus. Google 'em. Wiedekehr's also has an amazing restaurant (very romantic) if you have your significant other with you.
Of course, only those that are serious about their BBQ would drive 3 hours but I figured I'd share it since I've been there and IMHO, it's worth the 3 hour drive.
