Flown a little in a Citabria, Aztec and the Beech 18, but that 602 cockpit really looks familiar.:)

Hey sharkey, What did you use the Apache for? Looks like a GPS lightbar on the dash.

Thats exactly what it is, I still fly it we do air survey. That $30k plane has a half million dollar camera system in it.

5 1/2 years from CFI to Widget? That's got to be some kind of record, at least in recent memory. I salute you!

Actually graduated in 1993. Didn't get my CFI until 1994 (I think). Widgethead since 1998!

If we're speaking on using photos, Doug that 767 shot you used was mine that I took a few years back. One of my best I think.

Then back to the 172 to start instructing....

I swear, they cram a hell of a lot of technology into these little GA airplanes nowadays. That 172 looks more like a space shuttle cockpit to me!

No kidding. It's a little sobering to realize that I probably couldn't start a modern chickenhawk, let alone navigate it. I might as well be Orville Wright.
