That's just, like, your opinion, man
We'd handle it internally, trust me.So if your pilot group was out on strike and a member on here crossed the line does that still apply?
JC is not the venue.

Do you think it is?So if your pilot group was out on strike and a member on here crossed the line does that still apply?
Wouldn't that be a professional attack as opposed to personal? Unless you decided to make it personal. So if your pilot group was out on strike and a member on here crossed the line does that still apply?
I'm lost. I'm a dude, and I'm blond to boot. How did we roll from TP trying to provide facts/figures/stats against Seggy/ATN, to now talking about SCABs?
Because internet.
Some people want to joust and think Dougs living room is the appropriate venue. Doug apparently doesn't want those kind of shenanigans staining his carpet. It's his house, so he can kick everybody out if he wants to.I'm lost. I'm a dude, and I'm blond to boot. I won when I kicked you in the shin, but now my foot is wet.Pissing contests suck.
You wind up with piss all over your pants and you still don't know who won.
I really I just hate it... I like most of you love this place and I've been willing to fight for it. It would be much easier to just not care. My wife is questioning why even bother anymore. On the drive home from Monterey today, after a really nice relaxing weekend with her firm, we discussed why I care... And it's because, just that this place was always the most civil, the place we could come and be comfortable and have a great discussion. I've made some of my closest friends through this website.
Funny, most of them don't even come around anymore.
Oh well c'est la vie.
Before we have a "pile on" a few points...
Not every topic fits neatly in a box that we can all agree on. Some of these topics may become quite heated, folks may be REALLY passionate about them, and opinions may be deeply routed.
For example, the Allegiant Pilots want to get a deal for a contract. Say that doesn't happen and they get released for self help. As they are striking, other members on here cross the picket line and post about it. Are we supposed to still be welcoming of them? Yes it is hypothetical, but plays into what I'm about to say.
Personally, I obviously have strong feelings about Middle East Airlines. I feel they are a huge threat for myself and others on here. After a point, I'm really not going to care if I step on other members toes on here who support these airlines success or think I am wrong. If I cross that invisible line on here in support of my and other's career, internet niceties be damned. I'll be more concerned about my and other's career.
So, as I said, before we have a 'pile on', there is another side.
Ok. So bossman is obviously pulling his hair out over this crap enough to write up this thread and post it. This thread then turns into an extension of the crap going on in the original thread which lead to all this. You guys. Guys. C'mon. Please.
Once again, if someone is at a viewpoint that can decimate my career (and yours), there comes a point, where internet niceties are thrown out the window.
On the internet?
We'd handle it internally, trust me.
