The fact that certain people are STILL allowed to defecate on Socioeconomically White Doug's carpet is frankly astonishing.
 
The thing is, @Seggy and @ATN_Pilot, many on here agree with your viewpoint and it's a damn shame that you guys will most likely be ignored by the most impressionable because of your delivery. You don't need to sell me Tall Doug, Fat Doug, Black Doug, Emu, Failboat Captains I-VII. But the kid that is just getting involved or the career changer that doesn't post at all will look at you two as bullies and will look to the guy that is a professional and is more welcoming.
You two are undoubtably some of the most knowledgable if not most knowledgable members of this community when it comes to union issues and in particular the things and policies that present the greatest threat to this career. You have a duty to all of our careers to be respectful to the community. The issues that you are passionate about WILL put our careers in jeopardy. You not being able to effectively deliver these ideas ALSO puts our careers in danger.

You however are going to put the site in jeopardy, your viewpoint ignored, and your ability to educate because you think a mod is a poopy head and you want no restraints put on you when it's an issue you're passionate about.

I like boobs. I really like them. But I can't just come on here and post boob pics, it's against the rules. So I don't.

I swear, if these guys showed up in my actual living room being disrespectful to my other guests, they'd be tossed the hell out. I don't care what the debate was about, or how justified they thought they were. They'd be gone. None of that in my house.

Of course, JC isn't my house, but I think this thread is great: It clearly identifies which members feel they're so special they can blatantly violate the "Doug's Living Room" rule.

I am so bummed I missed the pissing match here and had to find out about it only after, by some miracle, we found where @Derg limits are. If a couple of guys have gotten him to the point where he is ready to pull the plug and destroy this place, everyone needs to take a step back and have a drink and relax.

Its amazing how tough a few people sound here, and then how non threatening they are in person. But honestly, if a couple of guys are causing this much trouble, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, and I support them being asked to leave, regardless of the good that they bring in most of the cases. Lets get back to the intent of this place and move on

The "any means necessary" is hardly appropriate here. I dont even really see how Todd has a dog in this fight. Since he didnt get his way he has taken the football and gone home. He isnt a airline pilot anymore, just a passenger.
