Their assumption is that if we cave, they will too.
Every plan is basically a giant deck of cards. If one part of the plan falls apart, EVERYTHING comes tumbling down. If we vote no, then the company won't be able to re-fleet, and the company will go out of business.
BUT, if we vote yes, then we MIGHT be able to re-fleet, and then the company MIGHT be able to get the mechanics to agree to a concessionary contract, and the company MIGHT be able to get the FA's to agree to a concessionary contract, and we MIGHT win some RFP's if Skywest decides they don't want them for themselves too, because Skywest will STILL be cheaper by 4% according to the road shows. Oh and we don't even start seeing cost savings for another 3 years.
