XJT AIP

Heard the Union conference call was pretty entertaining last night and a lot of pissed of guys called in.

I was on the fence about listening in, but I figured watching the Broncos/Chargers game would be much better than listening to a bunch of used car salesmen.

I am however gonna plan on listening in on the management call on Monday, I think that one is gonna be much more entertaining, unless they cancel it last minute because AT&T cut the phone lines or whatever they find in their 'excuses rolodex.'

I listened to it about for an hour and I hope some of the same callers call into the management one as well. It will be interesting to hear what their take is on some of those questions.

Where exactly were they PSing you guys to?
Yes here. Lasted a little over and hour. Brad says it was just the 1% ers that is saying the let it burn down

The were PS us home as we are done with systems today but still don't have our FTD schedule. They say we will get it today but they have been saying that daily for 2 weeks. They also said we mostly like not get anymore then Christmas Day off.

True. The rest are saying "I hope Delta/United calls as it burns."

I seriously haven't run into anyone that has said they would vote yes. I know. No one actually admits to saying yes but more no votes have been very adamant about their no vote.

It will pass on the ASA side. Not so much on the erj side. Mark my words.

Then, it's an overall no and the Ford & Harrison Union Busting: Chapter 1 Divide and Conquer resumes.

I think it will just barely pass and you'll never be able to find any of the yes voters. Our QOL goes down the tubes, our performance remains horrible, and no growth occurs.

Not that I want growth. I want to upgrade, but growth is bad for any of us who want to move on.

Why is stagnation, better than growth?

Stagnation from a company standpoint, in theory, means more planes at the majors. But just because a company is stagnant, doesn't mean that pilot movement is. ASA is losing airplanes, yet we are still having to hire. Not quite at the rate that we'd like, but its still more movement than we've seen in the last 5 years.
