What are your 2010 AVIATION goals?

No rush to achieve these, but here are some goals I have in the back of my head:

1) Upgrade to IP
2) Get my ATP
3) Get a glider rating

I assume you qual in both then? Difference is HUD/glass cockpit vice no HUD/glass cockpit.

I have no idea what happens with IP's, but I know only a certain portion of Krock studs qual in both A and C (they rock the "I've been in an A and a C model at the same time" shoulder patches)....there is a short transition syllabus after fams for them, and they start AN's in the Charlie. The rest either start and remain in A or in the C. As you know we only have charlies in Meridian, so I haven't even sat in an Alpha, let alone fly it.

In 2010 I hope to keep doing what I am doing and flying what I am flying.

I will be finishing up my Glider Certificate this year, finally and hopefully do my CFI-G in 2011

I want to get my Instrument this year, goal would be CFI, but just keeping it real. I would LOVE to do some glider training as well.

Well, I'd like to at least become current again. Before I do that, though, I guess I need to find my logbook. Haven't seen it since 2006.

After that...guess I oughta figure out how to pay for a flight school. :insane:

My goals are to find a job that pays well and gives me a good QOL. Whether it is an aviation job or not really does not matter to me.

I didn't read through this thread, and I'm sure I'm not the first to post this, but...

1) Don't die in an airplane
2) Don't kill anyone else with an airplane

I have a pretty damn good job right now. I'd like to make it better. Maybe add a type rating or two before the end of the year but really have no control over that.
But my main goals for 2010 is to get my friends that don't have jobs flying again and to help my buds at Airnet and Amflight get out of there if they want to leave.
